Caleb re-read the conversation that had just happened. He always did that. After surfing around the slow internet for a few minutes, he decided it was probably time to start getting ready. Didn't need Hale to get all pissy because he had been late. Not that he wouldn't have gotten pissy. Even if he did, Caleb wouldn't really care. All long as he was getting some alcohol, and a chance to go out and do something...he was happy. This tour had been unusually boring so far, especially in the past few days, so hanging out with Hale would definitely shake things up. The two were certainly an interesting pair. Caleb being the little...fairy boy [stupid Andy, having to give him a nickname like that], and Hale, the...well, he was just Hale. Enough said.
Shutting off his laptop and chucking it on the bed, Caleb got up and stretched his long, lean limbs. He had been sitting for awhile, surfing the internet, talking to people and...maybe watching a little porn. He was a guy though! Give him a break. And no, it had not been gay porn. Just because he was bi-sexual, and preferred guys most of the time...didn't mean he was fully gay! He really hated when people called him gay 'cause well...they were wrong! But whatever, he wasn't about to start ranting to himself about that. He needed to get ready and get his ass over to Hale's. Hopefully the kid would have enough alcohol to get him at least a bit drunk. Caleb knew Hale would most likely be drunk quickly...but he was a different story.
Caleb has always been nearly impossible to get drunk. Sometimes it had an advantage, such as when he was at a party with people he didn't know and didn't want to get fucking raped or something. Other times...not so much. There were those nights when he wanted to drink so much he was throwing up. But in order for that to happen, there needed to be a lot of stuff to drink. A lot of strong stuff, mind you. That's why he liked vodka. He usually bought the stuff that had around 50% alcohol in it. Not many people had that...most had 40%, which was good...but not good enough. He'd had this crap called Everclear once. It had 95% alcohol in it! That was a good night...not that he remembered much of it.
He made his way into the bathroom, carelessly shedding his clothes as he went, and turned on the showering, hoping in and letting the warm water flow down him. Ahh, showers were so nice. Caleb washed his hair and such slowly...taking his time. Hale had said he'd be showering too, so Caleb didn't think it would really matter if he was that late. At least...he hoped he wouldn't care. A pissed off friend with alcohol just meant that the pissed off friend would not be giving his late friend any alcohol. And that prospect sucked. So Caleb sped it up a bit, hoping out of the shower fifteen minutes later and wandering back into his room for clothes to wear.
Ten minutes later, Caleb was nearly ready. All he needed to do was wait for his straightner to heat up, and after a quick run through his hair, he would be finished. Finally, the iron heated up and Caleb quickly straightened a few pieces of his hair. Naturally, it was fairly straight, so it didn't take long. He grabbed his sunglasses of the table...even though it was getting dark, stuffed his cell phone in his pocket, grabbed the keys and finally, shut the door and locked it. The walk to Hale's wasn't very long, so he was there in only a few minutes. Just as Hale said, the door was unlocked. Caleb looked down, chuckling softly at the hole and walked in.

even though it's gonna crumble down , i'll keep building till you come around , ----- If anything, Hale knew for a fact that his friend Caleb was going to make him forget the humiliation of actually reading his poetry to Holly. Or at least the alcohol would. For the night, at least. That’s all he wanted, though. To be honest, this whole thing was just a way for Hale to get Caleb to come over and drink with him, because drinking alone was never fun. When you were with friends, it made things a lot better, no matter what you were doing. And they hadn’t hung out in a while, other than the few shows they had recently done. They needed to see each other, or else Hale was going to go psycho and add another hole to his front door or something (not really).
----- Shutting his lap top off, not exactly caring for anyone he had been talking to, he kicked his computer chair back and ignored the loud noise it made as it fell to the floor. Stepping over it, feeling rather lazy and unconcerned, he padded across the wooden apartment floor over towards the hallway. Stopping along to way to grab a towel from the linen closet, he continued on with it draped over his arm. Opening the bathroom door, he started the water after he dropped the towel onto the floor beside the toilet. Exiting the bathroom, allowing the water to heat up, he grabbed a pair of pants and boxer shorts that appeared clean. That’s all he needed, right? They didn’t have to exactly be clean to look clean. It wasn’t like they were going anyone important, anyways.
----- Snatching them up, he returned to his bathroom and started the shower. Pulling off his pajama pants, he kicked them out the door and into the hallway and slipped into the shower. Running his hands over his face and chest, he sighed into the steamy air. He took his time, washing his hair, knowing that Caleb wouldn’t be leaving for another ten minutes or so, giving him enough time to be lazy as he made himself look “presentable”. When his hair was rinsed, and he was satisfied with how he smelt, Hale shut the water off and stepped out. Snatching up the towel from the bathroom floor, he wrapped it around his waist and sighed. Pushing his hand up to the mirror, he pushed the fog from the glass and looked at himself with an arched brow.
----- It wasn’t like he was trying to look good, right? Even if he was, he knew that Caleb wouldn’t care what he looked like. It wasn’t a secret that Caleb liked him. It also wasn’t hard to tell that if Hale had been into guys, even the slightest, that he would’ve been completely fine with opening up to Caleb in that way. However. He was straight much to many male’s protests. Raking his hands through his hair, making it extremely messy, he frowned and shrugged his shoulders. Who needed hair to look excellent when you had a face, and body, like Hale’s? Not to mention, he never did anything with it to begin with.
----- Bending over, he grabbed his boxers and pants, resting his pants on the counter against the wall. Pulling his towel from his waist, he wrapped it around his shoulders as he stepped into the undergarment. With a small yawn, he pulled on the baggy pants over his boxers, leaving them undone for the time being. Turning back to the mirror, he quickly gave himself a sloppy shave, hating whenever he let his facial hair get too out of control. Rinsing off his hands, he pulled the towel off his neck and whipped his hands off as well. Tossing it behind him, hearing it hit the hamper, he gave himself a cocky grin and started out into the hallway, hoping Caleb wouldn’t take too long.
----- As he was reaching the end of the narrow hallway, his hands moving to pull up his zipper, he paused when he heard the door handle start to turn. Asshole didn’t even wait for him to answer it. Throwing on a grin, his hands hesitating to start doing up his jeans as Caleb walked in. Waggling his eyebrows, he gave a small gesture towards the opening in his pants, knowing that Caleb would be taken off guard by the sudden gesture. “Heh, just in time, don’t you think?”
