A date with Jacob? It sounded almost unbelievable. But it wasn't, she had proof in the text. Of course the thought of being his girlfriend was also unbelievable...if you would have tried to tell her a week ago that she would be dating Jake she would have probably just laughed, like it was a joke. The very idea would have sounded foreign to her. Because even though she liked Jake even back then she would have denied it, purely for the fact that she didn't think any good would come out of it. And now she was going on a date with him...it was insane. It had happened so quickly. But for once in her life she wasn't complaining about it.
She wasn't complaining about anything, really. Other than maybe the fact that she had absolutely nothing to wear. Everything she had packed was not "date worthy". Even if they were just going to Apple B's. No big deal, right? Then why was she a nervous wreck? She was standing in front of her closet feeling completely useless as she pawed through everything she'd brought with her, which wasn't much. A sigh escaped her lips. She was going to be late! And, really, it was just Apple B's, no big deal. Nope. So instead of spending another hour just finding the clothes she picked up an outfit that she thought looked nice and went to put it on...as well as do her hair. She wasn't going to bother with make-up, but only because she sucked at putting it on. If only her mom were there...
An hour later when she had her clothes on, her hair was straightened, and she thought she looked okay she threw on her shoes and walked out the door, having already told everyone where she was going, in all her excitement. Even though she was trying to remain calm her eyes were shining, and her cheeks were pink. She couldn't help it. She was excited, and she was pretty horrible at hiding how she was feeling...most of the time.
Hopping into Drew's car she drove to Apple B's, where she and Jake had arranged a meeting. Due to the fact that she was driving it couldn't have taken her too long to get there, but she still ended up being ten minutes late. Hardly late at all, but it made her nervous. What if he left?! What if he thought she was standing him up? Oh, it was terrifying, all the thoughts going through her head. The poor girl had to pretty much force herself out of the car, but she did it, and when she did she sat on the hood of the car, biting her lip nervously, and looking around. Where was he?

Shes got my heart tied in a knot And my stomach in a whirl ----------------- Jacob was excited. And nervous. But mostly excited. Finally, a date with Symphony! He had actually been trying to work up the courage to send that text asking her to go to Apple B's for a day or two. Now that the two were going out...Jake was just...a bit more shy. It was weird. And hopefully he would get over it. He hated being shy. Not that he hated shy people...considering he was dating Symphony...who was probably one of the shyest people ever. He liked her shyness. Jake just didn't like it when he was shy. He felt weird when he was shy. So Jake was hoping he would get more comfortable around her.
He just didn't know how to act now that he was her boyfriend! Could he be the same Jake he used to be? He really didn't know. All the other girls Jake had dated, he hadn't been friends with them before. Okay, he had been friends with some of them, but not best friends like he had been with Symphony. So he was confused on how to act. And nervous around her all the time. Everyone was glad they were dating though. Thank god. Most of them had said it was about time. Jake just laughed at that. He still couldn't really believe Symphony liked him...and actually had told him that. But Jake was incredibly glad she had, and incredibly glad he had a date with her.
A date that he had no idea what to wear too! Which was a bit girly, but oh well. Just because he was a guy didn't mean he didn't have to care how he looked. He was, after all, a bit famous. And people could be taking his picture tonight. Not that he cared about that. Jake just didn't want Symphony to think he was a pig or something. Not that she hadn't seem him slightly pig-ish before. He'd been around her completely drunk a few times, acting like an idiot and such. But this was a first date...he needed to make a good first boyfriend impression. And finally...he found clothes. Not to dressy, since it was Apple B's, but not to casual. After a quick mess of his hair, he was ready.
Jake drove to the restaurant slightly fast. It was 6:10, and he said they would meet at 6:15. Jake prayed Symphony wasn't there yet. Pulling into the parking lot, he didn't see Drew's car, which she most likely had drove here in. He was safe. Hopefully. For all he knew, Drew could have dropped Symphony off and she was waiting inside for him, all freaked out. Hopefully that wasn't the case. Walking inside, Jake saw that she wasn't there yet and let out a breathe of relief.
Five minutes later though...she still wasn't there! Oh god. Was she standing him up? Jake sure hoped not. Symphony wouldn't do that...would she? Jake continued looking at his cell phone as he stood in the little waiting area of the restaurant. Seven more minutes had passed, making it now 6:22. Oh god...she was standing him up! Jake sighed, looked out the window and to his amazement...saw Drew's car.Symphony got out and sat on the hood, obviously waiting for him. Jake made his way out of the restaurent and over to her. "Hey." He grinned, standing in front of her, hands in his pockets.

She spotted him walking over, and mentally slapped herself on the head. Of course he was inside, why hadn't she went inside? Probably because she hated going into such places all by herself. She always felt like everyone was staring...but at least she hadn't had to stay out there for hours while he waited for her inside, that would have been embarrassing. Even more so. The next thing she knew she was looking up, and he was right in front of her. It really all felt too good to be true, but it wasn't, because he was right there in front of her. She only had to extend her hand and she could have touched him...but she wouldn't. She wasn't usually one for touching. Even if he was her boyfriend now.
"Hey." She said, sounding a bit breathless, for some absurd reason. Probably because he looked great. She didn't even try to stop her eyes from running over him, from his head to his feet. She hopped off the car, then looked around, feeling even more nervous when they were face to face like that. Her cheeks already had their usual pinkness to them...the one that pretty much only appeared when she was embarrassed, nervous, or just around Jake. What did they do next? Oh, right, they had to go inside...and eat...which really should have been no big deal, they'd gone out to eat together before...but it had always been as friends. This time it wasn't as friends. This time it was a date.
She glanced at him nervously, then smiled. "Let's...go inside..." She said, in her soft voice. Maybe once they were sitting down she wouldn't feel quite so nervous. Of course she was also feeling very, very excited, but the nervousness was just as great as the excitement. She walked towards the door, wondering if she was doing this right. Not the walking, but if she should have waited for him to suggest they go in...or if she should have said sorry for being late...or if she should have said sorry for waiting outside. And so she decided to just push all those thoughts out of her head, open the door and walk in.

Shes got my heart tied in a knot And my stomach in a whirl ----------------- Jake understood why she hadn't come in, and didn't really mind it. Didn't even mind waiting, because she was here now...and that's what counted. It was better than getting stood up. Sure, while he was waiting he had probably looked a little dumb...but once he walked in, with his arm around Symphony...they definitely would not think he was dumb anymore. But it wasn't like Jake cared what everyone else though. All he cared about was what Symphony thought. Did she like his clothes? His hair? Did she even like Apple B's!? Oh god...even though he had known her for years, he had no idea what was going on right now. Obviously she looked good...Symphony always did. And yeah, that was cheesy. But oh well. Jake was allowed to think these things! He was her boyfriend.
"Hey." Jake said again, a smile on his face. She sounded out of breathe, and he wondered why that was. She hadn't walked here or anything. Maybe Symphony was just nervous, like him. Well...okay, of course she was nervous. She kind of always was... but oh well. He didn't care. Truly, he really didn't. Jake scratched the back of his neck, feeling a bit awkward as she stood in front of him, now off the car. Was he supposed to hug her? Did Symphony even want him hugging her? He didn't know. Jake didn't want her like...mad or something because he didn't hug her. But he also didn't want to mad because he had given her a simple little hug. Man, girls were confusing to think about! But he decided to play it safe, and wrapped his arms around her little waist, just like he usually did when they were just best friends. "How are ya?" He asked as he pulled away.
"Sounds good." Jake said, a smile on his face again. Even though...it hadn't really left his face at all. He was just a happy guy in general, and this made him more happy. He put his arm around her shoulders...hoping this was okay, and walked inside. Jake waited as the couple in front of them got whisked off to a table. Thank god it was a Monday, and not to busy. He told the waitress about his reservation, and she quickly grabbed menus, signaling it was time for he and Symphony to follow.

It was a simple hug. Just like the ones she'd loved since forever. It was no big deal, really, and yet it made her heart jump around in her chest a little bit. It wasn't that abnormal, really. Symphony was prone to such things, it was just in her nature. The blushing of her cheeks, the fact that anything could set her heart off, and the fact that she was biting her lip about eighty percent of the time. She was just a naturally nervous person. Many people didn't like it, many ignored it, some hardly noticed it, and Jake never really seemed to mind. If anything he seemed to try and help her be less nervous, like at McDonalds when he'd ordered for her, which was nice.
'how are ya?' she heard him say, as he removed his arms. Even if the warmth of his arms had felt wonderful she wasn't about to complain, or hug him, or anything. Instead she just replied with one of her timid smiles. "I'm great." And it wasn't a lie. She'd had a good past few days, and everything was really going...well, it was going great for her. Maybe that was even a bit of an understatement. Either way she could only hope that things continued going just as good.
Feeling his arm around her she couldn't help but let her small smile widen a little bit. Even that amount of contact felt so good to her. It just felt right, and natural. Things didn't even feel like they'd changed in the least. He'd hugged her when they had just been friends, and he'd put his arm around her, and she was kind of glad that nothing had changed. It meant that even after they broke up they could continue being friends...she hoped. Unless it ended badly...but it wouldn't, because she wouldn't let it. She knew it would obviously have to end sometime, because no one really lasted forever, but she didn't really want to think about that. She just wanted to treasure their time together while it lasted, which was hopefully a long while.
As the waitress led them over to a table she followed, and sat down, biting her lip. Now what? Well, they obviously looked at their menu's and decided what to eat, but what where they going to talk about? Normal friend stuff...or couple stuff? Whatever couple stuff was...

Shes got my heart tied in a knot And my stomach in a whirl ----------------- "That's good." Jake smiled. He felt...proud that he was the one that was making her feel great. Or at least, he was 99.9% sure he was the one making her feel great. If he wasn't...well, that would be depressing. But Jake was sure he was. He was her boyfriend after all! The thought made him smile. He'd been smiling a lot these past few days. These past few great days. His life was better than it had been for awhile. Sure...it had been good in the past, before they were dating. But dating Symphony was like the cherry on top. Cheesy, yes. But oh so true.
Jake looked down at her and smiled as he saw her smile widen. Thank god she hadn't minded when he put his arm there! He knew that even if she hadn't liked it...she probably wouldn't have said anything. But now Jake knew for sure that she was fine with it. Really, he was acting like when they had been friends though...so all was good. Jake wanted to keep this relationship as normal and as alike they had been when they were dating. But maybe...a bit more intimate? Like, he'd kiss her on the cheek or forehead or something when they parted ways. Not lips yet...he didn't think Symphony would go for that for another few weeks. And yeah, that might get a little hard for him...but it'd be worth it in the long run.
As the two sat down and the waitress handed them menus and said she'd be back in a minute, Jake wondered if he should have pulled out Symphony's chair for her. Probably. But what if that was too old-fashioned? Ugh! This was hard...it really was. But oh well...that was just one mistake. Who cared? Hopefully not Symphony. "So...missed you." He told her, blushing slightly. Jake had been out of town for pretty much the past three days, since his parents were visiting and the three were out having fun together. Jake loved his parents, and wished he could see them more often. But when they visited wherever he was at the moment, the three had some time together, which was good.
The waitress came back, asking their drink orders. "Coke, please." He told her, giving the smiling, giggling, hair-twirling girl a soft smile. Not big enough to flirt with her...but small enough to be polite. He looked at Symphony, hoping he had saw that. He had changed! And it felt good to have changed, as long as it was making her happy.

When he said that he missed her she felt the sudden urge to say something cheesy...like do the whole 'I missed you more!' thing. Luckily it wasn't that strong of an urge, and she could repress it...even though she was sure she had missed him more. But, come on, she hated when couples did that. It was truly one of the few things that could get on her nerves. It was corny as hell, and it could just go on for hours and hour, and it made her want to kill herself. Okay, maybe not really kill herself, but you get my point. So instead of engaging in an hour long game of 'No, I missed you more' she just smiled and replied with a simple "I missed you too".
The last few days had been the worst, and yet the best days she'd had in a long time. They were the best because she was finally dating Jake...they were the worst because she hadn't gotten to see him. She'd mostly been stuck with Milo and Drew...doing nothing...other than drawing, but even that had been slightly boring. But now everything was all better, because he was back, and he was hers, and he hadn't flirted with the waitress, even though she was pretty. Symphony couldn't help but worry if Jake thought she was prettier than her...but she pushed the thoughts out of her head. He was on a date with her, not the waitress lady, and anyway, she wanted to be happy.
"Lemon Water." She said, politely, shooting a faint smile at the waitress. Just because she was pretty didn't mean she was going to be mean to her or anything...Symphony probably wouldn't have been mean to her even if the waitress decided it would be nice to spill her lemon water on her. It was sad, but she really didn't have a mean bone in her body. Well, except for the few times in her life when she just snapped, and exploded...but those times were rare. It had only ever happened, what, three times? Mostly she had a good control on her temper. Which some people were annoyed by, and other people liked.
Once the waitress walked away Symphony glanced at her boyfriend...she just couldn't stop thinking that over and over again. He was her boyfriend! Just thinking about it made her feel all tingly...even if their relationship was pretty much the same as it was before. She didn't care. She realized that she had been staring, and laughed a little bit, nervously, deciding it would probably be a good idea to say something. "So, did you and your parents do anything interesting?" She asked, knowing it was probably the lamest topic for discussion, but it was also the only one she could think of.

Shes got my heart tied in a knot And my stomach in a whirl ----------------- Jake chuckled quietly at himself. Sure, the whole I missed you thing had probably been corny...but he had missed her. Quite a bit. And he was glad she had missed him too... Truth be told, Jake hated those stupid corny little exchanges between couples too. God, get a room! Yeah, it was great they loved each other and all...but those people didn't need to rub it in anyone's face or anything. They could love each other in private easily. But no. Those people just enjoyed rubbing their happiness in people's faces and making them feel inadequate. And Jake hated feeling like that... not feeling good enough. It was a bad feeling. He smiled at her, slightly shyly and looked down at his menu.
Jake wondered what she had been doing while he was gone. Probably hung out with Drew and Milo at the motel room. He felt kind of bad...maybe he should have taken her with him for a day or two. Jake's parents loved her, and loved it even more when he had told them they were dating. Of course, his mom got all weepy about 'her little boy being taken away' which had made him laugh. Symphony wasn't taking him away! It wasn't like they would get married or something. Which they most likely wouldn't. If anything was taking him away, it was this tour...which he had tried to tell his mom, but she wouldn't listen. His dad had just clapped him on the back and had been all 'Good job, son.' Whatever that meant...
Jake hadn't even noticed if the waitress was pretty or not. He hadn't really looked at her for long enough. Even if she was pretty, it wouldn't matter. Because he pretty much found Symphony prettier than any other girl. Corny, yes. But these thoughts were in his mind, so it didn't matter if he was corny or not. "Lemon water? You're too healthy..." Jake teased, shooting another smile at her. But he liked that she was healthy. Healthy girls were good. The ones that only ate junk, never exercised and weighed like, 300 pounds? Not so good. Which made him sound pretty shallow. Not that Jake was shallow...he really wasn't. He just preferred healthy types of people.
He watched her watching him and fought the smile that was threatening to come onto his face again. If he smiled anymore...some people might think he was crazy. And maybe he was. Jake had done some crazy things in his earlier teenage years. And a few crazy things on tour. Not as many...since he didn't want Symphony to think he was completely crazy. "Not really." He told her, shrugging. Even if they hadn't done interesting things...they still had fun. His parents could make anything fun. "Went to a couple museums. The beach. Touristy stuff." Jake said. "You should come next time...you know my parents love you." He chuckled. "What'd you do?" He asked.

Symphony tilted her head to the side in a slightly confused way. Jake was acting much different...okay, not much different, but there was something different about his smile. It was...shy. Jacob was not shy. Not that she really minded that he was acting a bit different...as long as he didn't act completely different she didn't care. As long as he was still Jake. Maybe he was just nervous...which she also found odd. Jake didn't usually get nervous. But it also made her feel better, because she was nervous as well. But it was normal, wasn't it? It was their first date, it was supposed to be a little awkward...but it wasn't that awkward, really. Not as awkward as the other few dates she'd been on had been. Probably because Jake was her best friend, he really was. It was never really too awkward to be around him.
Symphony opened her menu, looking down at it, but not really paying too much attention. She wasn't all that hungry...maybe she'd just get a salad, or something. She looked up as she heard his comment about her being too healthy...okay, maybe she wouldn't get a salad...maybe she'd get...a hamburger? Or something? Even though she didn't really like hamburgers. She'd much rather just have a salad...but he didn't seem like he really thought her being to healthy was a bad thing...he was just teasing, right? So she decided to get a salad...besides, it would be cheaper, wouldn't it? She didn't want to buy anything too expensive. "I'm not that healthy..." She said, shaking her head, although she kind of was. She ate healthy, she didn't smoke, she didn't drink, she didn't do any of that. Maybe she was too healthy...
"Maybe." She said, with a shrug. That could be fun...she liked Jake's parents, and they did seem to like her...she wondered if he'd told his parents about them dating...she wasn't going to ask, or anything, but she couldn't help but wonder. Just about everyone on tour already knew about, mostly because it was so damn hard to keep those kind of things a secret when you were stuck with all those bands, in one place. But also because of that Cece girl...or whoever she was. Symphony never paid much attention to her, but when she found out that she was writing about she and Jake she actually bookmarked the page, and started going on it more often. She found it funny that someone was actually talking about her...even back in High School nobody had really talked about her.
"Mostly just...hung out. Nothing very fun." She'd actually had a pretty boring time, in all honesty. She'd designed a few t-shirts, hung out in the motel, mostly. The band hadn't had any shows, as Jake was away...it was kind of hard to preform without your drummer, was it not?

Shes got my heart tied in a knot And my stomach in a whirl ----------------- Jacob saw her staring at him in an...odd way, and he knew he had to change how he was acting. Sure, he was shy and stuff...but Symphony probably thought this change was weird. He needed to tone it down a bit. Of course he wouldn't flirt with anyone else, but he would try and not be as shy. Didn't mean he would succeed...but trying was always good, wasn't it? But he wasn't going to try tonight. This was a first date. He was allowed to be nervous. Even if they knew each other well and stuff...it didn't matter. Because tonight was kind of like starting over. A new chapter. Okay, now he sounded liked a priest or something...and Jake didn't like priests. They were weird. Not that he was dissing Christians or whatever...because he wasn't.
Jake looked at his own menu, wondering what to order. Maybe a hamburger...he really liked hamburgers. But he had them a lot. More often than he should probably. It made him feel a bit bad...eating cows. But he really liked meat, so he wasn't about to become a vegetarian. But maybe he could stop eating so much...maybe he'd try that. But tonight he decided to get those yummy chicken fingers. Call him a little kid, but he really loved chicken fingers. Always had, always will. That used to be all he ate. Yeah...Jake was responsible for the death of many chickens. But the things were just so damn good! "Yeah, you are very healthy." He told her, smiling. "But I like it." Jake winked and set down the menu.
"No. You definitely have to. They asked about you." Jake said, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. "Don't worry...everything I said was good." He teased. And of course he had told them they were dating. Why wouldn't he? Unless he hadn't wanted to jinx it or something...but Jake knew there was no chance of this relationship getting jinxed. They were just...too good together. Even if that stupid Cece chick thought they were 'boring'. Why would she care? She was just a little creeper. And Jake didn't like her. But that didn't stop him from reading her page...because, well, it was interesting. And the death of that Dee-Dee girl was pretty sad. Jake hadn't known her...but still, to know someone had died...it gave him the chills.
"Well I'll have to make sure we do lots of fun stuff now that I'm back." He promised her, smiling softly and turning to the waitress, who had come to take their order. "Chicken fingers..." Jake told her, causing the waitress to giggle. Jake couldn't help but laugh at his childish order too, and turned to Symphony. "Salad for you?" He asked, giving her a teasing smile.

Of course the second he said he liked it she had pretty much made up her mind about the salad. She was also happier because he winked...which meant he was being slightly normal. Which was good, as she didn't want him to feel nervous, or anything like that...she was supposed to be the one who was nervous all the time. Not that she minded him being nervous, but she didn't want him to be...if that even makes any sense. Which I'm sure it doesn't. Then again, she was sure that after they both got used to the idea that they were actually together things would go back to normal...or at least kind of back to normal. She didn't want it to go completely back to normal, like back when he didn't know how she felt, and she was forever turning him down.
"Well, I'm glad you like it..." She replied, blushing, even though it was definitely a stupid reason to blush. All he had said was that he liked that she was healthy, it wasn't even a real compliment, and yet her cheeks were flaming. It was embarrassing, but she didn't try to hide it, or anything. Not only would it be useless, but it would probably just bring more attention to the fact that she was blushing. Which would just make her blush more. She made a mental note to learn how to control that blushing, and then just stopped thinking about it, knowing that when she did it would become much less noticeable.
"Fine, I will. I miss your parents." She knew her brother would go for it...it wasn't like he was taking her to Las Vegas to get hitched, or anything. Plus he knew Symphony wouldn't do anything stupid. They were just going to visit Jake's parents... although the fact that they had asked about her made Symphony feel oddly good. And the fact that Jacob had apparently only said good things about her...although she thought that part was more said in a joking way than a serious one. Although she kind of doubted that Jake would say anything bad about her...she wasn't vain, or anything, she knew there were probably plenty of things he could say. She just didn't think...he would.
Anything with Jake was fun, so she took his word for that one. She giggled at his order, then nodded, as he asked if she wanted salad. "Of course." She said, shutting her menu, and pushing it towards the waitress.

Shes got my heart tied in a knot And my stomach in a whirl ----------------- Jacob smiled at her blushing. "Well I'm glad you're glad that I like it." He said to her, probably making no sense. Jacob seemed to do those things sometimes...make no sense like that. Especially when he was nervous, such as now. In fact...his own pale pink blush was making it's way onto his cheeks, and he wished that wouldn't happen. He didn't want Symphony to think he was changing completely, because he wasn't. All Jake was doing was flirting less, and being a bit more shy. He didn't want her thinking he was making a complete 360. Because...as much as he liked her...Jake wasn't the type of guy to completely change for anyone. Unless it was like...a life or death situation, of course.
"They miss you too." Jake told her, sipping his drink. He was rather thirsty. But he usually was in situations like these where he really didn't know what to say. Weird? Yes. Uncommon? No. If that made sense. Which Jake really doubted it did. But these were his thoughts, which didn't necessarily have to make sense. And it wasn't like Symphony could hear these thoughts, thank god. If she could...she would probably think he was a freak and dump him. Well, okay, she most likely wouldn't dump him. Symphony was too nice for that sort of thing. Which meant Jake would have to do the breaking up...and Jake hated breaking up with people. He was horrible at it, and got all nervous and shaky and nearly broke down crying. Yes...crying. Call him sensitive...he probably won't deny it.
Jake grinned as she giggled at him. Probably was was a weird thing to be happy about. She was, after all, making fun of him. But he knew Symphony was only teasing. And teasing was flirting. And flirting was good. Jake liked when Symphony flirted with him. He turned towards her. "So..." he said, racking his brain for something to talk about. "How about this...weather." Okay. Did he seriously just ask about the weather? Fuck, Jake! Way to look like an idiot.

He was so cute when he made no sense. Symphony just wanted to jump on him and hug him...okay, not literally. That would just be...odd. Especially in front of everyone who was in the place with them. But she couldn't help but at least consider it when he was being so cute, so awkward, and the blush creeping up his cheeks only added to it all. She didn't even really care that he was acting a bit different...it was only a bit...and she knew he wouldn't change completely. He'd always be her Jake...or, well, he wouldn't always be hers. They would eventually have to break up...well, she wouldn't break up with him, but he would break up with her. That was just life. But no matter how cute he was she wasn't going to play his little game and retort with a 'well i'm glad you're glad i'm glad' or whatever. that would go on forever, and if he kept blushing and looking so awkward and cute she wouldn't be able to help herself.
Woah! What the hell was wrong with her? Hormones, she hoped. But she had never been like this...not that she was really being that bad, but in her mind she was. Then again, she was Symphony the Saint. Cigarettes were BAD, drinking was BAD, everything was bad to Symphony.
Raising her hand up to her mouth she started chewing on her thumb nail, before realizing there wasn't exactly much to chew on. And so she switched to her pink nail. She'd been trying to stop, she really had, but she couldn't help it. She was nervous, and her weird thoughts were just makign her more nervous. It was a good thing Jake couldn't read her mind...what would he think of her? Would he think that she was the one changing? She didn't want to change! Oh, god, her brain was being so confusing. It took all her strength not to pick up the fork lying next to the hand she wasn't biting on and use it to take her brain out through her nose. That, and the fact that it would probably hurt like hell.
Weather?! Oh god, he had to stop being so adorable. She really wouldn't be able to take it much more. No, wait, yes she would. No she wouldn't. Oh, she didn't know. But this was all his fault...the fact that her thoughts were pretty much on par with a testosterone induced teenage boy (at least in her opinion) was all his fault. "Yeah, it's really weathery..." She agreed, dropping her hand onto the table, and looking around, before taking a drink. Oh god. Maybe this had been a bad idea. The whole dating thing. No, no, it couldn't have been. She loved Jake. No, wait, she liked him. Oh, she didn't fucking know. She was just...nervous. Even more than she had been a few minutes before. It was horrible, it was annoying, and she hated it.
