What a knock back of a show that was! Lou had just recently saw one of the best rock shows of his life, the audience was blown away by the power and he couldn't help but to get sucked into the excited energy like the audience. Sure he was there as crew so he couldn't drink a single drop until after the performance and after he finished setting the equipment down but they didn't have to much equipment so it was pretty easy overall. Straight after that it didn't take him a long time at all until He found the bar and he took advantage of the tequila. Sure he may have wasted his entire days salary and a bit more on how much he ended up drinking and buying other people drinks but he knew that in the end it would be worth it. He still had a bit of cash in his wallet; the plan for that money was if he got lost he could simply get the nearest cab to bring him home and pay with the small amount of money in his pocket.
It was getting very late though, actually by now it was very early morning and in just a couple of hour the sun would be setting so the bar had long closed and everyone had cleared out of it to go to another party or most likely head off to bed for the night. Getting kicked out of the bar piss drunk and not really knowing where to go, home might have been a good place, he decided to wonder the streets until he would find another party. Being barley able to walk on the other hand he had downed so much tequila that night he had barley made it past the parking lot of the show and mostly just looked like a drunken idiot wondering around.
People made sure to take strong advantage of this, people he wouldn’t go near if he was anywhere near sober. When two scruffy men approached him they looked like they hadn’t showered in days and they weren’t going to approach him just for a friendly talk. They started to talk to him asking for the time and he gave some sort of response that wasn’t that comprehendible but had something to do with asking them if they had any alcohol on them. As he got close towards them though one pulled out a knife and stuck it towards his neck, demanding he open his wallet and give them all the cash he had on him. If he was in better shape he would’ve done the smart thing and run but instead he just let the guy stick the knife at his neck, not even having the closest clue of the danger he was in at the time. “That uh mean yah dah ‘ave da alc’hol?” His eyes were clowdy, he needed to get to a bed. His life was in moral danger and he didn’t have the first clue as they all blatantly stood there in the parking lot.
The other character gave Lou a hard punch to the face, which easily knocked him to the ground where Lou hit his head off the pavement and started to bleed from his head, which confused him more. He had no idea what was going on but he was now feeling a sharp pain in his head. The two of them started to search his pockets for his wallet, deciding to take it upon their own hands to steal it from him since he was far to out of it to do that himself.

DESTINYemmalineWHITNEY>>twetny>>loud>>crazyrated pg 13 for language -------fuck. Fuck. FUCK! Dee-Dee felt like screaming. It was approahing the early morning, and while she knew she should have been in bed, she wasn't. Partly because she was no where near as drunk as she had been hoping for. She had had a hard time tonight getting ahold of booze. Apparently those with it, weren't willing to part with it, even if the chances of getting her drunk and then having her sleep with them increased a great deal when she was too far gone to care. Of course that rarely happened, because she was pretty damn strict about who she slept with, but still. It was a possiblilty. Dee-Dee walked down the side walk towards where she was staying. She had given up the chance of getting totally wasted, and had settled for the nice little buzz going on now. It wasn't enough for her liking, but hey, something was something, and better then nothing.
The show that night had been beyond amazing, to say the least. Each band that had been up there had given it their all. It was a rough competetion for Keep It Caroline, but they too brought the engry and power. This was just one of those rewarding nights where the crowd was practically lost in the bands music, all of the bands. As a singer, during the show she only drank certain things. Water and hot tea. They soothed her voice and refreshed her. However it was the afterwards where she generally drank more then her fill. Dee-Dee was known tour wide as being a party girl, who generally was always getting wasted. Sure there were days where she would go without partying and drinking, but lately they had been far and inbetween. She was sure if she didn't slow it down a little she would be an alcoholic, and that she didn't want.
It had been her idea to slow it down a little. To party just a little less, and not so hard. But hell, she still needed to get completely shit faced every now and again right? Like now would have been a great time to be wasted. She had just preformed a great show, and was humming with the adreline that came after each show. Shehad been rawring to party with no one to really party with. It was rare for that to happen, but it did. She just really hated when it did happen. It made her all sad in side and what not. Ok so maybe it was just sad that she couldn't get drunk, whatever its the same thing. Dee-Dee turned down one road and continued her nice little walk.
As she neared a corner, she heard something that didn't sound like she should stick her noise in. However, Dee-Dee was bad at listening to herself. Dee-Dee turned to see what was going on. There were guys, and they seemed to be mugging someone. She couldn't recongize anyone, let alone the guy her band had heired as a techie. Dee-Dee pulled on the small hand gun she kept in her purse. It wouldn't do much damage, it was mostly for show, and noise. It didn't have real bullets in it, but she saw no need to tell anyone that. Dee-Dee took aim in the air and fired. " You assholes had better leave him alone before I cap a bullet in all your ugly asses." Dee-Dee threatened without a quiver in her voice. She looked serious, and she knew it was a scary thing to see her serious. At the sound of the gun, and her threat, everyone seemed to run off, everyone except who they were mugging.
Dee-Dee kept the gun out but ran over to help whoever it was that she had just saved. As she drew closer, she recongized who it was instantly. Lou. " You alright Lou?" Dee-Dee questioned.

As the guys ran off into the distance after he heard a loud bang he looked up and through his fuzzy vision could see all the feet scurry away from him. Not before grabbing a hold of his wallet in his left pocket though and running off with that as well. Thankfully the most he had in there was his $20, he had left his credit cards at home because he knew he couldn’t afford to spend on those already being on a tight budget and drinking just about every night with the bands. As they ran off though he was a little confused. “So no ‘cohol?” He guessed not or something else was going on that his vision was just to fuzzy to realize just what was going on right now.
That was when he suddenly noticed Dee Dee standing above him asking if he was all right. Dee Dee was a nice girl from the big band he had just joined the crew of, in fact it was her that got him hired so he really liked her and smiled when she came. “Hey! Dee-Dee” Although he started to yell at first he stopped the yelling when it started to make his head pound. He wasn’t heavily bleeding and when he felt the cut on his head it was clear the cut just came from the scraping of the skin, which was a good thing because it meant no cracked heads and the only thing he had to worry about now was a concussion from the fall. “What’s going on?”
Sitting up he then very slowly peeled himself off the ground to attempt to stand up. He reached for his wallet but noticed it was gone, not even realizing that the people just mugged him for it, it would probably take a lot of sobering up before he’d figure that out. He did have a few important pieces of ID in it such as a driver’s license he wished he would never lose though and that would be his biggest loss. As he peeled himself off the ground a bit more and lifted his head he suddenly started to feel dizzy. It was probably the fall or the alcohol that started to blur his vision, or perhaps both, but as he got up his eyes started to go white and he fell right back down again on his ass now sitting there. “Where am I? I’m so smashed.” He chuckled a little but he was telling the truth when he said he had no idea where he was. “Think you could help me… get back to my place?” Hopefully she knew where he lived, it was the same place he kept all his equipment and people went to for repairs so she had probably been there before but did she know the exact directions? Lou seemed to think so. He had to try to get up first though.

DESTINYemmalineWHITNEY>>twetny>>loud>>crazyrated for ------- Drunks, Dee-Dee quickly realized, where more fun to deal with if you were actually drunk with them Otherwise it was indeed a hassle. She knew she was simliar to this guy now when she was drunk, but at least she didn't have to deal with herself. She laughed when he realized he wasn't getting anymore alcohol. It was funny to watch drunks. Dee-Dee knew he probably hadn't known he was getting mugged, and that it would probably be hours before it dawned on him, when he was more sober... From his condition, Dee-Dee was sure he had had more then enough to drink tonight, and probably wouldn't remember a few of the facts come time to wake up. Not to mention the wicked hang over that was sure to follow.
So I'm guessing your alright..." Dee-Dee said with a grin. She would hold this over his head, she knew. He was too drunk to realize it now, but a girl had just saved his drunk ass. It would be a great story, she knew, and partly because no one had gotten hurt. Not seriously anyways. She had noticed that he had scrapped his skin, but that was about all she could see. Dee-Dee moved back as she watched as he picked himself up off the ground, a great feat when one was smashed beyond reasoning, Dee-Dee knew from experince. Everything was a great feat when one had knocked back too many. Hell even climbing in bed was hard to do, and a success when actually getting in.
She noticed he was trying to grab something, and figured it was something one of the asses had taken from him. She hadn't seen what it was, but she had seen someone picking something up and running off. She hadn't thought it was important at the time, because she was just concentrating on surviving tonight, and helping the victim. " In an allyway. " She answered him, although why she didn't really know. Likely he didn't even remember asking her the question. " Yeah sure " Dee-Dee answered, putting out her hand to help him up, figureing he needed it, even if he was peeling himself up earlier. Judging by the way he acted, and her experince, she figured walking may be a little hard for him, and there for she would probably be helping him walk most of the way to his place. She had been there a couple of times, although just with her bandmates who needed some help. The only thing Dee-Dee had that was even techenical was the microphone, which she never worried about because it was the sound people of the tour that messed with that more often then not. She did not play any in

It was true that he had no idea what she was talking about when talking about the alley because he had just forgotten the question but on the other hand it didn’t matter either. He understood his judgment was impaired and wasn’t about to ask about something 1000 times that didn’t even matter anyway. If there was something that important she wanted to tell him then she’d be smart enough to tell it to him when he was sober.
As she extended her arm out he understood that it was to help him stand up again so he grabbed the side of her arm with both his hands and pulled up hard. At first he pulled so hard without even getting up that he almost pulled her down to the ground but then when he remembered that he had to get on his feet as well and make an effort himself to get up in order to fully be standing up again he hopped to his feet and was quickly standing up beside her, this time the dizzy spell that made him fall back down before didn’t seem to strike him but the fuzz in his eyes made it clear that he wasn’t anywhere near sober either. “Thanks.” He then brushed the dirt on his jeans off, even though his jeans weren’t that dirty.
Starting to walk one direction, that was hopefully his place, he suddenly got some sort of genius drunken idea. “Hey did you wanna go drinkin’ somewhere, bar or somethin’? Le’s take tequila shots!” It didn’t occur to him that the bars had been long closed by now and that he had by far enough alcohol in him already, getting mugged and not even realizing it, to be doing something like drinking more tequila. CeCe was right when she thought about the terrible time he was going to have with the hangover the next day. He was just trying to be friendly with her though and figured inviting her somewhere random would be the nice thing to do. Did he have the first clue what was going on? Well now that he got walking and got smacked in the face hard enough before he could figure out that CeCe was taking him back to his place because he was to lost to figure the directions out himself.
“What did you think of tonight’s show? You guys blew the audience away. One of the best I’ve seen you guys so far.” This might have been a better conversation to have while not drunk because he could go into more detail but now that he was talking to her he figured it was a better time then ever. “You guys are really stepping it up a notch, looks like I’ve joined you guys at the right time.” One of the main reasons he wanted to tech for her band was before he could see them going further then all the other bands playing in the area. He didn’t have anything against the others, Keep it Caroline just had the strongest potential in his mind.

DESTINYemmalineWHITNEY>>twetny>>loud>>crazyrated for ------- She had waited for him to take ahold of her arms so that she could help him up, and boy was that almost a mistake. Lou had pulled one her so hard that she had stumbled and almost fallen down beside him, which might have actually hurt a little bit. She was never a really graceful faller, especial if she had had a drink or two or eight. Of course all she had going down was a buzz, one that didn't even seem to be lasting her until she could get home. As he reduced the pull a big, and managed to get up, Dee-Dee released him. " Your welcome. Now lets get you home Lou, before something else happens." Really that last bit was to herself, not really wanting for another group to set out and try to mugg them because they thought he was too drunk to do much, and she was a girl and couldn't fight back. Mistake on their part really, but it was an unneeded stop.
Dee-Dee put her hand on his should to stop him from walking in the wrong direction of where his place was at. The offer to get a drink would have been good if it wasn't so early in the moring. " Sorry, honey, the bars are all closed down. No drink." She said, adding the no drink thing just in case he didn't catch what it was she was telling him. No drink was clear, simple, and easy for a drunk who may forget it three minutes late from now. Even if all the bars were open, that would be the last place she sent him, though she did want to get wasted herself. He had obviously had more then enough in his system from whatever party he had been able to join. Lucky bastartd. Dee-Dee started moving the other way, watching to see if he would follow her, praying he did because getting a drunk to listen was hard work, and she didn't really want to do it.
He talked about the show, asking her questions about it. Dee-Dee didn't really answer it. This wasn't really she wanted to talk about with someone who was drunk. Sure she had thought the show had been completely awesome, but even then there were a few things that could have been done differently, now that she stoped to think about it. Stuff like her pitch. She needed to work on that. Dee-Dee was always about perfecting her choosen art. Not that she told many people this, but she critized her things until she thought it was as perfect as it can get for whatever song they had choosen to sing. " Yeah we're lucky to have Lou." Lou was a techie, she knew, for several bands. Keep It Caroline's old techie had need the extra help, and so then Dee-Dee suggested Lou, everyone practically jumped at it.
It had been a unianmious vote that he gotten Lou the job. She had just suggested him. Dee-Dee looked up at the signs to make sure she knew where she was at. They weren't too far from where Lou called home, so it would be a short walk. " We're close to your pad." She didn't really get why she was trying to converse with a drunk, but she gave it a shot anywaywas.

When she pulled him another way after he started to walk in the wrong direction he was smart enough to realize she had a much smarter idea of where they were going compared to him and automatically trusted the hand guiding him opposed to his brainless drunken self. “I owe you like a million favors so if there’s anything you ever need.” That could have meant anything: Booze, drugs, driver, diet coke, Spongebob Season 1, so guessing what he was talking about could have been anything. “Like anything at all just let me know.” Although he was drunk it seemed like he was just saying his thoughts out loud and even while sober, especially while sober during the days because he’d be more capable of doing it, would still hold up to that promise he was making here now.
As she told him they were getting near his pad he thought it might be a good idea to actually look up to see where he was for once on the trip instead of trying to concentrate on the pavement so he didn’t pass out. The walk took a bit of time and even in that time he managed to sober up just a bit to be able to walk and talk with her. Alcohol went through the guy quickly and he was a heavyweight, he had probably been drinking tequila for years now. “Hey I recognize where we are now.” They weren’t that far from the place to begin with but at least now they were a little closer so he could start to recognize the area. “I know how to get from to my shop from here.” She no longer needed to guide him with her hand because he was now walking straight and seemed to have a strong direction of where he was going.
“Ya should be careful ‘bout where your walking at this time of night.” He looked at his cell phone in a hidden jean pocket, so the muggers hadn’t found it and stole it, and was starting to realize the late time it was as he turned it on and checked the time. “It’s easy t’get mugged around here you know.” Saying that it was obviously Lou had completely forgotten about what just happened 15 minutes ago but on the other hand he was drunk, didn’t have any idea what was going on to begin with, and got in the head badly. He did remember having some sort of cut on his head, although he couldn’t remember why. Feeling his head for the first time he could feel pain when it stung his forehead to press hard on the still bleeding scrape on the top of his head. He decided the best option was to not touch it again, although he would probably forget that plan in a few minutes and wonder why he had a bump on his head in a half hour.
“That’s the only problem with having my shop and all the shows in this area, it gets fuckin’ dangerous when all the lights go out and kick everyone out of the bars. People and bored and look for trouble.”
