-- Bringing the cigarette to his lips one last time, he inhaled deeply, sucking the last of the flavor down with his breath. Flicking the but to the ground, Shane smashed it into the street as he released his breath. Smoke swirled in puffy clouds around his head before the wind carried it away. Shoving his hands into his pockets, he swiftly crossed the street as cars came at him from both directions and stepped onto th curb. At that moment, an overwhelming variety of food smells hit him and made his mouth water. Fast food. Delicious. Scanning the few selections, Shane decided to settle with street-brand McDonald's. He walked over to the stand and waited in line for a minute before ordering and paying the loser at the makeshift counter. He'd never be caught dead serving people all day and in in that outfit.
-- Carrying the burger and pop over to his favorite place to eat at -a simple gate near a brick wall- he unwrapped his lunch and took a bite. Not the best but it;s not like it was rotten. Focusing on something other than the taste, Shane looked down the sidewalks to see if anyone he know was going to pass by. Familiar faces, but he couldn't put names to very many of them. Chomping down the last of the meal, he sucked down half his coke and threw his wrapper in a trashcan. Pulling out his phone from his jacket pocket, he flipped through the contacts.
-- No one of great importance. There was Holly but she was probably with one of her boyfriends. Andy. Ha! Let's not even go there. Absently chewing on the end of his straw, Shane began to walk to nowhere in particular. He still was staring at the screen of his phone intensely as if by doing that someone would text him or call. Anything to save him from the boredom of this long day. Obviously, he wasn't paying attention though, and ran into someone.

Character:: Enna Post Status:: Complete Word Count:: 445 Notes:: Shane/Enna 1st Meet
-- Enna packed up the rest of the equipment quite please with herself. Once again she had gotten everything done and together just as she needed to. The band would be pleased. They usually were. That as because Enna always got everything done. What complaints could they ever have? Unless they were having a bad day. Then she didn’t take it personally. They were just frustrated. She couldn’t blame them for that. It was just natural for them to be upset in those cases. Enna locked up everything so that none of it could get taken. Sometimes people made mistakes and took things that were not theirs. Better to not give them a chance to make that mistake and just pack up everything instead. It would save everyone a lot of trouble and Enna would not feel bad about what happened. There again, it was simple in her mind.
-- The young Asian woman’s hair was in twin braids. She was wearing a white shirt, a pink vest, and black slacks. All of it was light and breathable giving her the ability to wear it as the June days grew warmer and warmer. Most people had already started wearing shorts and skirts. Eventually she would consider that too. But not until it was closer to July or she had a reason to wear one of her cute skirts. She didn’t have a reason just yet though so she stuck with other things. Still comfortable and still very usable when it came to all the work she had to do. Auntie Jack and Uncle Damian were going to be very proud of her.
-- She had time to herself now. But what to do with it? She wasn’t sure. She was always doing things for other people. To not have time for herself…well then what could she do? Food? She wasn’t sure if she was really hungry. She could find one of her friends. She just wasn’t sure where any of them were. Maybe she should go just wonder. That seemed her best idea. There were so many places to explore here. The idea was exciting. Enna began walking trying not to gawk like a silly tourist. It was all so new and different though and she had promised Auntie Jack that she would tell him all about it. The only question was, how did you tell your beloved guardian about running into someone and falling on your backside. That wasn’t supposed to happen. She should have been paying more attention. Enna’s face turned bright red at the realization of what had happened. “I am so sorry!” She said, her face turning red from her place on the ground.

Character:: Shane Post Status:: Complete Word Count:: 306 Notes:: xD he feels for her :p
-- It was such a nice calming day. Hardly any traffic, which was a change. There were a bunch of tourists running around with their kids. Birds were chirping. You couldn't even smell alcohol on the club block, which was just plain weird. But then Mr. You-Walk-Around-Me had to blow his concentration but nearly tripping over something. He heard a slight thud as his phone got knocked from his hands.
-- He stared down at the ground for a minute, momentarily confused as to why some girl was sitting on her ass apologizing to him. Then it clicked- he had ran right into her because of playing with his phone. And she was thinking it was her fault? Normally if it had been some guy he would have just been all "sorry man," and offered a hand. But Shane was actually embarrassed that he had knocked her down. And he even felt a heat flash cutting across his face. The fact that half a minute had passed and he was still staring at her with a dumbfounded look wasn't exactly helping. So, he crouched down and offered a hand. "It wasn't your fault. I should pay more attention the where I'm going."
-- He chuckled lightly to break the weird tension in the air, and while he waited for her to accept his help up, he got the perfect chance to study her. Smooth, fair skin. Gorgeous brown eyes. Long black hair. A definite knock out if he ever saw one. Yet something about her said she wasn't like other girls around here. Maybe it was the way she had apologized. Or the way she flushed red with guilt and embarrassment. Whatever it was, it was telling him to be nice. Shane was not a nice guy, and anyone would tell you that. So why was this situation different?
