Whistling and a singing through the hall and through the streets Everybody`s dancing and there moving to the beat
-------------x-x------------
Holly was so excited! She hadn't had popsicles in forever! She could practically taste the yummy red deliciousness of her favorite red popsicles as she shut her laptop, and looked around the tour bus for her shoes. They couldn't have ran away, could have have! No, that was simply out of the questions. Shoes did not run away, people in shoes did! After a few moments of whining, though, she found them...right where she had left them, beside the bunks. "Score!" She pretty much shouted, slipping on her favorite pair of orange ballet flats, and walking out the door. It was summer, there was no need for jackets. Although in Holly's world there was no need for jackets in Winter, either...as long as it wasn't snowing. And then even sometimes she would go outside in snow storms wearing only shorts and a t-shirt. Some called her insane...and those people were most likely right. Holly was slightly insane, if not completely.
Once she was outside she looked around, then started skipping towards her destination. She could have always drove, as none of her band mates where around, but she hated driving the bus. And it wasn't a far walk, nope, not at all! So she decided just to walk to the stands, where she was meeting up with her friend Hale. To get popsicles! Yum! Of course walking was more like skipping to Holly, and she was a fairly fast skipper. Yep, she was. So ignoring the slightly odd looks she got from the few people who she passed who didn't know who she was, she made her way to the stands. Of course most just ignored her...because even if they weren't other bands, if they were in the area chances were that they had seen her preform, or at least heard tale of her. It was no secret how insane she was, not in the least.
When she got there she looked around, pouting. She didn't see Hale! Where was he?! Holly was usually a very late person, but it agrivated her when others where late. Not that they had set up an exact time, so technically he couldn't really be late...but gr! And if they didn't have popsicle stands she was going to...die or something. How could they not have them?! And so she continued looking around, walking slowly (or as slowly as she ever really walked) looking for both her friend and some place with delicious red popsicles. Oh, no, she changed her mind. She wanted yellow. No red. No both!
After a few seconds of looking she saw Hale though. She had just been about to text him and ask him where the hell he was. "Hale!" She shouted, bouncing up and down. "You're late!"

learn to lose , learn to win , turn my face against the wind . ----- He was going to get a Popsicle. With Holly-Lynn Moore. Eer. Holly Moore. If she had ever, ever caught him using the name "Lynn", she'd kill him.
----- Slipping into some pants, and smoothing out the small mohawk-looking point at the top of his head, he grinned back at the mirror. The smile touched his eyes, making him feel like he was going on some kind of exciting date. Which was anything but the truth. Sure, it was exciting to see Holly, always was, but it wasn't a date. Wasn't even close. Plucking his shades off his dresser in the rental apartment, he slipped them onto his nose and grabbed his keys. Before he opened the door, his hand flicked the switch to his lights off, and he was on his way.
----- Hale was an athletic kind of guy. Not a jock, or anything. But he was extremely active. So the walking didn't bother him at all. And, secretly, he was trying to save the planet from more pollution with not having a vehicle, apart from the band's van. But it was hard to carry speakers, or amps around everywhere, so the van was kind of mandatory. And the fresh air would do him some good, make him a little pumped. He knew for a fact that Holly would be up to something today, want to go running around crazily for whatever reason. So, he needed to prepare for it. Body and mind, so to speak.
----- Stuffing his hands into his pockets, he whistled to himself as he walked, his eyes closing for a moment behind the dark red shades. It was about, two in the afternoon. And it was already pretty hot. Than again, that was California for ya. Breathing out a sigh, his eyelids opened just in time to turn a corner. The apartment wasn't that far from the concession stands, and he had walked there so many times, Hale was sure he didn't even need to see.
----- With a yawn, and a sluggish groan pushing from his throat afterward, he caught sight of Holly's bouncing figure and almost turned around. Not because he was being rude. Just to bug her. His lips pulled into a grin as he approached her and she informed him that he was late. "Oh, really? I wasn't informed I was on a clock." Nudging her playfully, he scanned around, looking for some popsicles. Now that he was there, so close, he really wanted to sink his teeth into one.

Holly rolled her eyes at what he had said about the clock...and she tried to think of a witty come back, for about three seconds. Nope. Nothing. Oh well. So instead she just went with a simple. "Shut up. You're late." And started looking around desperately for any place that would give them juicy delicious melty popsicles. She didn't care where...even if it where just some strange old man trying to lure them into his car. Okay, that would probably be the one exception. Old people kind of scared her...especially the ones with no teeth! ew. Plus half of them were completely crazy...although that wasn't exactly their fault...they were just old and senile.
She continued looking around, and then she saw it! There was an ice cream stand! Didn't those things usually have popsicles? of course they did! They had all types of delicious frozen treats in their magical frozen box. "OH MY GOD!" She shouted, jumping up in down. "I found it! They must have them there, right? it's an ice cream place, and popsicles are half ice cream...well, they're ice, right? So they must be there!" she giggled a little bit, and took off, pretty much running. Once she got there she was bouncing. She couldn't wait to get a yummy popsicle to suck on!
"Hey, do you have popsicles? The yellows or the reds, or both?" She asked the man selling them, without even looking back to see if Hale was following. She knew he would! It would just be mean for him to ditch her. Hale would never do that! Then again, Holly was kind of niave about that kind of thing...she was also firmly convinced that just because she almost always told the truth that people would return the favor and be equally truthful with her.
The man selling the delicious popsicles didn't even look too surprised to have a bouncing Holly pretty much yelling at him about popsicles. Instead he just shrugged, and pulled out a yellow and a red one, holding them out to her. five dollars he said, in a bored tone. Even if Holly thought he was being kind of rude she understood. Standing in one place would be the most boring way to spend a day, and he had to do it all day! Poor guy. She took out a five dollar bill, and passed it to the guy, taking the popsicles, and turning to look at Hale. "Do you want the yellow or the red?" She asked, smiling. She hadn't even thought of asking what kind to get him...instead she'd went and got herself two. And now she was sharing one with him. How generous of her!

learn to lose , learn to win , turn my face against the wind . ----- Trying, and failing, to hold back a chuckle, Hale knew that he won against her when it came to witty comments. He was a master with words, usually, unless he got nervous. But he had no reason to get nervous around Holly-- unless she started to take her clothes off. That'd be kinda weird. Not non enjoyable, but weird. "Ahh, don't be a bitch, Hollz. You know I would've never stood you up, or meant to be late." A playful smile pulled once again over his lips, letting her know that he was just pulling her leg. When wasn't he?
----- Slightly started by burst of vocals, his eyebrows raised as he looked in her direction, spotting the ice cream stand as well. Before he could open his mouth to tell her to tone it down a bit, she had already started running. Figures. Swallowing, he started towards her direction, taking it slow, his eyes on the target the entire time. It was almost like he was baby sitting. No matter what you tried to enforce, they always chose to listen to the voice inside their head before anything. Not to mention how much energy she had was threatening to over run his own. Which was another reason as to why he wasn't running after her; he'd need his energy after she got the sugar rush from the popsicle.
----- As he walked, he contemplated as to what he was going to get. He usually either went with the red, purple, or green popsicles. Sometimes the orange, if he felt in an orangey mood. Licking his lower lip, he smiled at the thought of a red popsicle melting on his tongue. Ugh, it was almost heavenly. Which made him decide right than and there as to what he was going to get. A red popsicle. As long as they had them, of course. Usually they didn't, for red was almost everyone's favorite popsicle flavor. He'd suck it up, and just get the next running flavor up.
----- By the time he was in hearing and talking distance of Holly, she already had two popsicles within her hands, held out for him to pick one. His eyes trailed over each, his head tilting a little to the side. Pulling his right hand up, he pointed to the red with a grin and nodded. "Hells yes, for the red!" Stopping a little bit in front of her, he leaned in and closed his lips and teeth over the red popsicle, pulling it out of her hand. Raising his own, he grabbed the stick and pulled it out of his mouth, a good sized chunk taken out of the top. Rolling his tongue over it, trying his best not to look stupid as he tried to get past how cold it really was, he looked at Holly. Finally swallowing it all, he sucked in the warm air and exhaled. "Soo, what's on today's agenda? Anything you want me to endure, before we decide we're too hungry to do something?"

Whistling and a singing through the hall and through the streets Everybody`s dancing and there moving to the beat
-------------x-x------------
Holly's idea of a witty comment was "your mom" so she wasn't really all that surprised that Hale had won the contest so easily...well, it wasn't really a contest, but in her mind it was. She also wasn't surprised that he was joking around. The two had a very joke-y relationship. Of course that was how Holly liked her friends...serious people were just no fun! Of course that didn't really stop her from trying to befriend serious people...but the fact that she could hardly ever be serious did usually stop them from wanting to befriend her. The only time she'd ever really be serious was during band practice, and even then she liked to fool around quite a bit. But what fun was life if you lived it like you had a stick stuck up your ass? no fun at all!
The blonde giggled a little bit, as he took the red from her, although she was slightly let down. Then again, she still had the delicious yellow banana flavored one, so she was all good! If she really wanted a red one she could buy herself one...it wasn't like she was low on money or anything like that. She actually had quite a bit of cash on her...enough that if she were back home in New York flaunting it around there would be a chance that someone would try and pick pocket her...and probably succeed. And she'd probably never even notice, being as flighty and air headed as she was. She wasn't stupid, per say, she was just a little spacey most of the time. She'd rather be in her own little world then pay attention to what was going on in the "real world". Everything was funner in her world.
Sticking the tip of the yellow popsicle in her mouth, she sucked on it slowly, as not to get a brain freeze. Those were never fun! Sadly, she usually got them when she was eating ice cream or milk shakes...but with popsicles, as she loved them so, she could savor them slowly. Although sometimes if she was in a hurry she still got brain freezes, and the coldness always made her teeth hurt. But they tasted so good!
Hearing what hale said she pulled her pop out, making that popping noise that she loved so much, and looked thoughtful for a moment. "I don't know! I didn't really have much planned," She admitted, shrugging her shoulders. And that was when it happened, the thing that usually happened to her whenever she had nothing to do and was bored, and needed something to do. A million different ideas just waiting to come out popped into her head, and she felt the urge to say all of them. She was never one to suppress that urge. "Oh, we could shopping! Or we could go to the movies, or," She bit down on her popsicle, then chewed it and swallowed, ignoring the coldness on her teeth. "we could play tag! But that's never fun with two people."
